Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Truck Accident on Interstate 5 near Lebec Road

Bakersfield, California (April 1, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning car crash resulting in injuries in Bakersfield.

The accident occurred on Interstate 5 near Lebec Road, at about 7:38 a.m.

A tanker truck transporting dangerous chemicals, for unknown reasons, crashed with a semi-truck on the roadway, according to the authorities.

All lanes of Interstate 5 were closed for over an hour due to the accident.
