Fatal Hollister DUI Crash on State Route 156 near San Felipe Road, Monday afternoon
Hollister, California (March 3, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged DUI traffic crash that resulted in the death of one person on Monday afternoon near Hollister.
The accident involved at least two vehicles that crashed in the westbound lane of State Route 156, east of San Felipe Road shortly before 3:05 p.m. March 2.
The manner in which the crash occurred was not disclosed at the time of the report.
One driver died in the accident while the other was areested on suspicion of DUI.
The freeway was closed down on both directions for over two hours as police conducted investigation.
