Elijah Holland Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Lone Tree Way in Antioch

Elijah Holland Identified as Person Killed in Antioch Pedestrian Accident on Lone Tree Way near Deer Valley Road

Antioch, California (March 3, 2020) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash last week Thursday in Antioch, according to police.

The crash occurred shortly after 6:45 p.m. on February 27, on Lone Tree Way near Deer Valley Road.

Elijah Holland, 11, tried to cross the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

Holland was later pronounced dead upon arrival of the police.

A passenger in the involved vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries sustained from the crash.

The driver reportedly stopped and cooperated with the police.

The crash remains under investigation.

“A person on foot is no match for a large, multi-ton vehicle. Pedestrians have virtually no protection when they are hit by cars, motorcycles, trucks, and other vehicles” Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian, believes. “Sadly, this often leads to catastrophic injuries including temporary or lifelong disability, severe disfigurement, severe physical and emotional pain, and/or death.” He adds.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys have helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
