Man on Wheelchair Critically Injured in Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Marks Avenue and Sussex Way
Fresno, California (January 31, 2020) – According to Fresno police, a pedestrian accident that happened in the area of Fresno on Thursday evening resulted in critical injuries to a male victim.
The major-injury collision occurred in the evening hours on January 30, in the area of Marks Avenue and Sussex Way.
As per the report, a male party on a Wheelchair was struck by an unspecified vehicle while he was trying to cross the street.
The initial report indicated that the involved vehicle was making a left turn at the time of the collision. The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
The man who was believed to be in his 90s sustained critical injuries in the crash. The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for medication.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
