5 Sustained Minor Injuries in Fresno Rollover Crash at Herndon and Maple Avenues

Fresno, California (January 17, 2019) – Five people were hurt in a traffic collision involving an ambulance in the area of Fresno at around 10:00 p.m. late on Thursday night, a local news source reported.

The two-vehicle crash happened in the area of Herndon and Maple avenues.

The accident involved an American Ambulance transporting a patient to Kaiser Permanente and a sedan heading eastbound on the highway.

The primary report showed that the ambulance was traveling west on Herndon Avenue when it collided with the sedan for undisclosed reasons. Due to the impact of the collision, the ambulance overturned.

A total of five people sustained minor injuries in the crash. All patients received first aid treatment from fire department officials who arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck.

Officials identified the wounded victims as three medical personnel, the patient being transported by the ambulance and the driver of the car

The three paramedics and the motorist were taken to Community Regional Medical Hospital for further treatment.

 The patient was also rushed to Kaiser Permanente.

Meanwhile, the identities of the injured parties were not disclosed at the time of the report.

The wreck resulted in the closure of the intersection of Herndon and Maple Avenues for about an hour.
