Pedestrian Killed in Oxnard Traffic Crash at Vineyard and Central Avenues 

Oxnard, California (December 15, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Oxnard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of East Vineyard and Central avenues at approximately 5:44 p.m. December 14.

As per the report, a vehicle of unspecified built struck a pedestrian at the intersection for an undisclosed reason.

The unidentified pedestrian died in the accident.

Meanwhile, the CHP did not release details regarding the operator of the involved vehicle.

Officials said the vehicle involved was removed from the scene by a tow truck.

The crash remains under an active investigation.
