CHP Investigating El Dorado Hills Bicycle Collision at Avanti and Royal Oaks Drives

El Dorado Hills, California (June 15, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to a major injury bicycle collision at Avanti, and Royal Oaks drives in El Dorado Hills at about 10:17 a.m.

The accident involved a bicyclist and unspecified vehicle that collided at the El Dorado Hills intersection Sunday morning.

The unidentified rider was hospitalized at UC Davis Medical Trauma Center with major injuries sustained in the wreck.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
