Donald Nelson Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Mack Road in Sacramento

Donald Nelson Dies after Sacramento Pedestrian Crash near Mack Road and Valley Hi Drive

Sacramento, California (March 2, 2020) – Donald Nelson, 88, has been identified as the elderly man killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento, according to police.

Nelson was at Mack Road and Valley Hi Drive when he was struck  by a car on Tuesday, February 25.

Nelson sustained severe injuries crash and was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead in the evening.

The involved driver stopped and cooperated with the authorities.

DUI was not believed to have contributed to the accident.

An investigation is underway.
