CHP Investigating Fatal Tulare County line Car Crash on Avenue 432 and Road 120
Tulare County, California (March 2, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed, and two others died following a two-vehicle crash that happened right near where the Tulare County line meets Fresno County at around 7:15 a.m. Monday.
As per the CHP report, a Chevy van traveling west on Avenue 432 slammed into a Mazda that was heading north on Road 120 Monday morning.
The primary report indicated that the Chevy failed to stop at a stop sign at the time of the collision. Due to the impact, the Mazda hit a power pole.
Officials confirmed a male party inside the Mazda died in the accident. Two other men riding in the van were airlifted to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
It was not clear whether or not drugs or alcohol were a factor in the mishap.
The investigation is underway.
