Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Dinuba Boulevard in Visalia ID’d as Desiree Alonzo

Visalia, California (December 11, 2019) – Police has identified the victim killed in Visalia pedestrian collision on Friday night as 30-year-old Desiree Alonzo of Visalia.

The fatal pedestrian crash happened on Dinuba Boulevard near Ferguson Avenue at around 10:00 p.m. December 6.

As per the report, Alonzo was struck by a southbound car while walking along Dinuba Boulevard.

The initial report indicated that Alonzo stepped into the path of traffic at the time of the collision.

The driver of the involved car was later identified as 30-year-old Devin Warren of Visalia.

Alonzo was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment of critical injuries sustained in the crash. She was sadly pronounced dead on Monday, December 9.

Warren stopped after the crash and cooperated with the law.

Meanwhile, the investigation is still ongoing.
