1 Hospitalized after Two-Car Accident at F and Oak Streets in Eureka

1 Injured in Eureka Crash at F and Oak Streets Tuesday

Eureka, California (December 11, 2019) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in the area of F and Oak Streets in Eureka.

The accident was reported at around 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, December 10 at the intersection of F and Oak Streets near the Grant Elementary School.

According to the report, a black Honda CR-V collided with a gray Volkswagen Passat for an unknown reason at the Eureka intersection.

One person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by responding paramedics before being taken to St. Joseph Hospital for further aid. The name and current condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.

The Volkswagen Passat sustained front-end damage as a result of the crash.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
