1 Killed in Desert Hot Springs Pedestrian Crash at Palm Drive and 18th Avenue
Desert Hot Springs, California (February 24, 2020) – One person died following a pedestrian accident that took place in the area of Desert Hot Springs at approximately 4:40 a.m. February 22, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
According to a local news source, a pedestrian was struck by an unspecified vehicle on Saturday morning in the area of Palm Drive and 18th Avenue.
The pedestrian was declared deceased at the crash scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.
It was not clear whether or not the involved motorist stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the investigation.
More details about the fatal accident will be released after the completion of the investigation.
