Daniel Bennet Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 119 in Bakersfield

Daniel Bennet Dies after Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on Highway 119 near Erro Ranch Road

Bakersfield, California (March 9, 2020) – Daniel Lee Bennet, 36, has been identified as the man who was killed in a pedestrian accident last week on Tuesday in Bakersfield, according to authorities.

The crash happened on Highway 119, almost a mile east of Erro Ranch Road, at about 5:43 a.m., on March 3.

The California Highway Patrol said Bennet was struck by a pickup truck before he was hit by several other vehicles. Bennet was walking westbound on the highway at the time.

Bennet was declared dead at the scene.

The pickup driver stopped after the crash and called the police.

The crash remains under investigation.

“A person on foot is no match for a large, multi-ton vehicle. Pedestrians have virtually no protection when they are hit by cars, motorcycles, trucks, and other vehicles” Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian, believes. “Sadly, this often leads to catastrophic injuries including temporary or lifelong disability, severe disfigurement, severe physical and emotional pain, and/or death.” He adds.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys have helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
