3 Injured in Costa Mesa 3-Vehicle Crash at 19th Street and Meyer Place
Costa Mesa, California (January 7, 2020) – According to the Costa Mesa Fire Department, three people were injured in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles on Monday afternoon in Costa Mesa.
The 3-vehicle crash took place at approximately 12:30 p.m. at 19th Street and Meyer Place
As per the report, a compact car, a pickup truck and an SUV collided at the intersection for undisclosed reasons.
Due to the impact, the SUV overturned, and a motorist was trapped inside.
The pinned driver was extricated and taken to a trauma center for treatment.
A second victim sustained unspecified injuries and was also hospitalized.
Officials said a third person was treated at the crash scene.
The investigation is underway.
