Contra Costa Car Crash at Withers Avenue and Pleasant Hill Road Injured 1 Victim

1 Hurt in Pleasant Hill Car Accident at Withers Avenue and Pleasant Hill Road

Pleasant Hill, California (March 23, 2020) – One person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision that took place in the area of Pleasant Hill Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident involved a blue Honda Civic and a white Nissan that crashed in the area of Withers Avenue and Pleasant Hill Road near Lucinda Lane at approximately 8:46 p.m.

Due to the impact, the Honda Civic acquired minor front-end damage while the Nissan came to a stop on Lucinda Lane after the collision.

One unidentified person was reported to have suffered minor injuries in the wreck. The patient received first aid treatment from medical personnel who responded at the site shortly after the crash.

It was not mentioned whether or not the victim was hospitalized for further treatment.

The crash resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.

The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
