Palo Alto Car Accident on US 101 Bayshore Freeway Resulted in Unspecified Injuries

Palo Alto, California (January 18, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a multi-vehicle collision that took place in the area of Palo Alto at about 7:58 a.m. on Wednesday.

The three-vehicle crash occurred on the US 101 (Bayshore Freeway) near the San Antonio Road North off-ramp.

As per the CHP report, a silver Honda, a blue Ford sedan, and a gold Audi collided on the highway for unknown reasons.

Due to the impact of the collision, the blue sedan acquired major rear-end damage.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside the Ford sedan.

The extent of injuries suffered, and the exact number of injured parties has not yet been released to this time.

Officials requested tow trucks to remove the damaged vehicles away from the scene. 

The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
