CHP Investigating Friday Morning Fatal North County Crash
1 Killed, 2 Injured in Escondido Car Accident on Harmony Grove Road near Elfin Forest
Escondido, California (January 31, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in an Escondido car crash that happened Friday morning on Harmony Grove Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:45 a.m. near Wild Hollow Road.
CHP officers responded to the scene to find three vehicles involved in the crash.
One of the motorists involved was driving a Toyota SUV. The driver told officers that his car overturned after a white car came around a corner and collided with another vehicle head-on.
One person died in the collision, and three others were injured, according to responding paramedics.
The conditions of the patients remained unknown.
Officers closed both directions of Harmony Grove Road following the crash.
