Carson Gates ID’d as Passenger Killed in Fresno Car Crash at Nees and Chestnut Avenues
Fresno, California (April 27, 2020) – The passenger who was killed in a suspected DUI accident on Saturday afternoon in Fresno has been identified as Carson Gates, 19, according to authorities.
As per the police logs, the crash happened at about 3:00 a.m., on April 25, at Nees and Chestnut Avenues.
The officials said a Chevy truck, driven by James Mitchell Anderson,26, for unknown reasons, collided with a red Volkswagen on the roadway.
Gates, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen, was transported to Saint Agnes Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Anderson was arrested for alleged DUI.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
