Authorities Identify Woman Killed in Corona Motorcycle Accident at River Road and Kalus Avenue as Brenda Richardson
Corona, California (February 9, 2020) – Brenda Richardson, 48, of Eastvale, has been identified as the woman who was killed Wednesday night in a motorcycle accident in Corona.
The fatal crash happened at the intersection of River Road and Kalus Avenue at around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 5.
According to the authorities, Tashiro Isa, 85, of Corona, was driving a 2006 Lexus eastbound on River Road when he made a turn in front of a motorcycle driven by Richardson. The two vehicles ultimately collided.
Richardson was ejected from her bike upon the impact.
Richardson was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, she later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Isa did stop to render aid and fled the scene, but he was later arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
