Boy Seriously Injured after Being Struck by Vehicle in Salinas

14-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Salinas Pedestrian Crash on San Juan Grade Road

Salinas, California (February 21, 2020) – A boy was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Salinas Thursday night, authorities said.

The pedestrian crash occurred in the 100 block of San Juan Grade Road at around 10:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20.

The 14-year-old boy was running across the street when he was hit by a vehicle, according to the authorities.

The boy was taken to a hospital with major injuries. His name and condition at this time remained undisclosed.

The driver involved remained on the scene and cooperated with the police. Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.
