Boy Dies, 6 Hurt Following Multi-Car Accident on 10 Freeway in Baldwin Park

Boy Killed, Six Injured in Baldwin Park Car Crash on San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Francisquito Avenue Off-Ramp

Baldwin Park, California (May 11, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a boy Sunday afternoon in Baldwin Park and left several other people injured, the California Highway Patrol said.

The fatal crash happened on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway near the Francisquito Avenue exit at around 1:40 p.m. Sunday, May 10.

Authorities said at least six vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the freeway for reasons still under investigation.

The boy, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of family, died at the scene.

Six other people sustained unspecified injuries. Their conditions were not immediately provided.

A SigAlert was issued at 2:22 p.m. for the closure of five lanes of the 10 Freeway. As of 5:49 p.m., all lanes were reopened.

An investigation into the accident is underway.

Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian believes that car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the circumstances involved. “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side,” He said.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
