Woman Injured in Taft Bicycle Accident on Tenth and San Emidio

Taft, California (December 13, 2019) – A woman riding a bicycle was struck and injured by a vehicle Thursday morning in Taft, authorities said.

The bicycle accident happened shortly before 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12 on Tenth and San Emidio.

According to the authorities, the woman was riding his bicycle westbound on San Emidio when she attempted to cross the intersection and was hit by a vehicle that was heading southbound on Tenth Street.

The woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to a Bakersfield hospital. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
