Bicyclist Hospitalized after Garden Grove Crash at Orangewood Avenue and Euclid Street

Garden Grove, California (March 3, 2020) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Garden Grove Monday night, according to a local news source.

The bicyclist, whose name has not been disclosed, was at the intersection of Orangewood Avenue and Euclid Street at around 11:00 p.m. Monday, March 2 when a Chevrolet Suburban struck them

The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The condition of the victim at this time remained undisclosed.

The driver of the vehicle involved, Victor Medina, 26, did not stop to rendered aid at the scene and fled the scene.  He was apprehended about a quarter-mile away from the crash site.

Medina failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on suspicion of DUI and felony hit-and-run.
