Bicyclist, 72, Killed in Fresno Traffic Accident on Auberry and Millerton Roads

Bicycle and Motorcycle Involved in Fresno Fatal Crash on Auberry and Millerton Roads

Fresno, California (May 25, 2020) – A-72-year-old male bicyclist died in a collision with a motorcycle Sunday afternoon in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident happened when the man who was cycling his bicycle southbound on Auberry Road went onto the highway. The bicyclist was then hit by a motorcycle that was also heading southbound on Auberry Road on May 24.

The victim was declared deceased at the scene.

Officials said the 39-year-old rider sustained injuries on his arm following the mishap.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
