CHP Investigating Major Injury Taft Pedestrian Accident on Harrison Street

Taft, California (May 25, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian accident that took place between Date Street and Cedar Street in Taft just before 9:00 p.m. May 23 resulted in serious injuries.

As per the report, a pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle at the location of 320 Harrison Street, near a meat market Saturday night.

The current condition and the identity of the patient remains unknown thus far.

Details regarding the driver of the involved vehicle were not immediately established at the time of the report.

An investigation into that accident is underway.
