At Least 1 Injured in Big Rig Crash on Highway 88 near Boggiano Road in Stockton

Stockton, California (April 21, 2020) – Authorities said two vehicles collided Tuesday just after 3:00 a.m. on Highway 88 in Stockton, resulting in major injuries.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, a big rig and a Toyota Corolla were involved in the crash.

Emergency crews responded to the eastbound lanes of the highway just west of Boggiano Road, where the accident had happened.

Authorities said at least one person suffered serious injuries in the accident. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to take the victim to the hospital.

There were no other details provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
