Authorities Investigating Fatal Huntington Beach Car Crash at Warner Avenue and Ash Lane

1 Killed, 1 Sustains Serious Injuries in Huntington Beach 2-Vehicle Accident at Warner Avenue and Ash Lane

Huntington Beach, California (February 8, 2020) – The Huntington Beach Police Department is investigating the cause of a fatal traffic accident involving two vehicles that took place on Friday afternoon in Huntington Beach.

The collision involving a 1997 Saturn driven by a 94-year-old woman and a silver 2004 Mercedes-Benz operated by an 86-year-old female party happened at about 2:00 p.m. on February 7.

The circumstances that lead to the collision of the two vehicles near the intersection of Warner Avenue and Ash Lane were not immediately released at the time of the report.

The Mercedes-Benz motorist sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for medication.

The 94-year-old female driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital, where she was also admitted after the wreck.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.
