Campbell, California (January 23, 2020) – The woman who died in a traffic accident that happened last week Friday in Campbell has been identified as Theresa Saechao, 30, of San Jose.
At about 3:20 a.m. Friday, January 17, authorities received a report regarding a Honda Accord heading south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 880 near Coleman Avenue in San Jose.
Moments later, the Accord collided head-on with a Toyota shortly after Interstate 880 turns into Highway 17, near Hamilton Avenue in Campbell. After the crash, the Toyota came to a rest in the median and the Accord stopped on the right shoulder of the highway.
Saechao died at the scene.

Police said there was an alcohol smell in the Saechao’s Accord, but it is undetermined whether that was a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
