Authorities Identify Motorcyclist Killed in Crash in Fairfield

Justin Wilkinson Killed in Fairfield Motorcycle Accident on Waterman Boulevard

Fairfield, California (January 21, 2020) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who was died in a traffic crash that happened Sunday afternoon in Fairfield as Justin Wilkinson, 30, of Fairfield.

The fatal accident took place at about 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19 on Waterman Boulevard, over Interstate 80 at the eastbound ramp.

According to police, Wilkinson was riding his motorcycle on Waterman Boulevard when he collided with an SUV driven by a 63-year-old Fairfield man.

Wilkinson was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Police said neither alcohol nor drugs were factors in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
