Authorities Identify Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle in Riverside
Juan De La Rosa Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Accident at Sycamore Canyon Boulevard and Eastridge avenue
Riverside, California (January 29, 2020) – Authorities have identified the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Riverside as Juan De La Rosa, 32, of Moreno Valley.
The deadly pedestrian crash took place at around 5:47 a.m. Tuesday, January 28 in the area of Sycamore Canyon Boulevard and Eastridge Avenue.
Authorities said a 36-year-old Hesperia resident was driving a 2016 Honda Accord southbound on Sycamore Canyon when they went through a green light and hit De La Rosa, who was walking across the road.
De La Rosa was taken to Riverside University Health System Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
