At Least One Person Suffers Major Injuries in Bakersfield Car Accident on Highway 99 near Highway 166
Bakersfield, California (March 6, 2020) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a multi-vehicle crash that happened Thursday night on Highway 99 in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5 on northbound Highway 99 near Highway 166 and involved several vehicles.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. The name and condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.
Northbound Highway 99 was shut down for more than an hour while crews clear the scene.
