At Least 1 Killed in Fiery Moreno Valley Crash Involving Big Rig Sunday Night
CHP Investigating Fatal Crash on Gilman Springs in Moreno Valley
Moreno Valley, California (May 18, 2020) – At least one person died in a traffic collision that occurred Sunday at about 10:47 p.m. on 34822 block of Gilman Springs in Moreno Valley.
According to a California Highway Patrol log, the crash involved at least two vehicles, including a big rig and a blue Mazda 3.
The report said the big rig caught on fire in the crash.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person was killed in the accident. The identity of the deceased was not mentioned.
Tow trucks were needed to clear the roadway.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
