At Least 1 Dies Following Fatal Fallbrook Crash on South Mission Road near State Route 76

Fallbrook, California (January 19, 2020) – At least one person was killed in a head-on crash in Fallbrook Saturday night, according to authorities.

The fatal accident happened at around 9:20 p.m. Saturday, January 18 on South Mission Road near state Route 76.

The California Highway Patrol said a gray SUV collided head-on with a white sedan for an unknown reason on South Mission Road.

At least one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family.

The accident remains under investigation.
