At Least 1 Hurt in Highway 56 Crash in San Diego

At Least One Injured in San Diego Two-Vehicle Crash at Highway 56 and Carmel Valley

San Diego, California (January 16, 2020) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that happened Wednesday in a San Diego intersection, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The wreck occurred Wednesday, January 8 at the intersection of Highway 56 and Carmel Valley.

According to the CHP, a BMW sedan and another vehicle collided at the San Diego intersection for reasons still under investigation. The force of the impact caused one of the vehicles to crash into the bush along the highway.

At least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene by emergency responders.

The accident remains under investigation.
