Minor Injuries Sustained in I-880 Collision near Whipple Road Off-Ramp in Hayward

Hayward, California (April 3, 2020) – At least one person was hurt in a traffic collision Thursday afternoon on Interstate 880 in Hayward, as per a California Highway Patrol log.

CHP said the minor injury accident involved two vehicles and occurred at about 1:44 p.m. in the northbound lanes on Whipple Road off-ramp.

Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person complained of pain to the neck. It was not clear if that patient was hospitalized.

CHP is investigating the accident.
