Antoinette Windom Killed in Sacramento Head-On Crash on Eagles Nest Road near Jackson Highway

Woman Killed in Sacramento Head-On Accident on Eagles Nest Road ID’d as Antoinette Windom

Sacramento, California (January 25, 2020) – 29-Year-old Antoinette Windom has been identified as the female party killed in a head-on accident that injured five high school students on Wednesday in Sacramento County.

According to the Sacramento County Coroner, the fatal collision occurred on Eagles Nest Road, near Kiefer Road and just north of Jackson Highway.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, for unknown reasons, a vehicle driven by Windom veered from the northbound lane of Eagles Nest Road into the southbound lane and collided head-on with another vehicle.

Windom died in the accident.

Five students from Pleasant Grove High School sustained unspecified injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Two of the five students sustained broken bones, one suffered internal injuries, and the other two had minor injuries.

Limited details about the accident have been released to this time.

The CHP is still investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
