Anthony Wilson Killed in Big Rig Crash on Highway 680 in Alamo
Victim Of Fatal Highway 680 Truck Accident near Stone Valley Road in Alamo Identified as Anthony Wilson
Alamo, California (March 11, 2020) – A truck accident claimed the life of a man Saturday morning in Alamo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Anthony Wilson, 64, of Brentwood, died in the wreck that happened shortly before 6:00 a.m. on March 7 in the southbound lanes Highway 680, just south of Stone Valley Road.
Authorities said Wilson was operating a Freightliner big-rig on southbound Highway 680 when he came upon a non-injury traffic accident. He then swerved to avoid crashing into the wreckage but ended up hitting the center divider.
As a result of the crash, Wilson was ejected onto the roadway and died at the scene.
