Adrienne Smith Hospitalized and after Bakersfield on Manor Street and Circle Drive 

Bakersfield, California (December 26, 2019) – 49-year-old Adrienne Smith has been identified as the man injured in an accident involving a vehicle and a bicycle on Monday evening in Bakersfield, according to a police report.

The crash took place at around 5:15 p.m. December 24, in the area of Manor Street and Circle Drive.

The California Highway Patrol said Smith was riding a bicycle, and he crossed the intersection when a Volkswagen, driven by Bethany Crooks, 21, travelling in the first lane of Manor struck him.

Smith was ejected from the bike and was thrown onto the roadway.

Smith was taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment.

Crooks stipped and cooperated with the police.

The investigation into the crash is still under investigation.
