Adam Herrera Killed in Vehicle Accident on 405 Freeway near Rosecrans Avenue in Hawthorne

Adam Herrera ID’d Man Killed in Hawthorne Car Crash on 405 Freeway near W. Rosecrans Avenue

Hawthorne, California (January 8, 2020) – 35-year-old Adam Herrera has been identified as the man killed in two vehicles crash on Tuesday night in Hawthorne, according to a police report.

The crash took place at around 9:45 p.m. January 7, on the northbound side of the 405 Freeway near West Rosecrans Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Herrera collided head-on collided with a 2007 Infinity SUV. The Honda lost control and spun out and came to rest facing the wrong way on the Carpool lane with lights off. 

Herrera was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Two occupants in the Infiniti complained of pain.

No other details of the crash were immediately reported.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
