6 Injured in 2-Car Accident on Stoddard Wells Road in Victorville
Victorville, California (January 20, 2020) – Six people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Victorville, according to a local news source.
At around 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, authorities received a report regarding the crash on Stoddard Wells Road, just east of the KOA Kampground near the Interstate 15 freeway.
As per the report, a white Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Stoddard Wells Road when for an unknown reason, it collided with a blue Mazda SUV that was traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result of the crash, the Mazda carrying two occupants came to rest on the shoulder of the roadway while the Honda with four occupants acquired major front-end damage.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the wrecked Honda. A total of six people were injured in the crash. Their names and condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.
Stoddard Wells Road was closed in both directions between Highway 18 and the 15 freeway for about one to two hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
