57-Year-Old Man Injured in Crash on Sports Arena Boulevard in San Diego

Major Injuries in San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Sports Arena Boulevard and Kemper Street

San Diego, California (February 6, 2020) – A 57-year-old man was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in San Diego, according to a police report.

The crash was reported at around 4:00 p.m. February 5, at the Home Deport off Sports Arena Boulevard and Kemper Street

The San Diego Police said the pedestrian was hit by a Toyota Prius, driven by an 80-year-old man at a parking lot in the Midway District

The man was severely injured and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The crash remains under investigation.
