4 Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara
4 Hospitalized after Santa Barbara Car Crash on Highway 154 near Painted Cave Road
Santa Barbara, California (April 9, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a Thursday evening car accident that left four people injured, with one of them seriously hurt in Santa Barbara.
The crash happened at about 6:00 p.m., on Highway 154 in the mountains above Santa Barbara near Painted Cave Road,
The police said a sedan, for unknown reasons, collided with an SUV on the highway. One of the vehicles reportedly struck the passenger’s side of the other car.
The emergency responders freed one party who was trapped in the wreckage.
Two persons sustained major to moderate injuries while another two sustained minor injuries. All were taken to a hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
