3 Hurt in La Quinta Center Drive Crash in La Quinta

3 Injured after 2 Vehicles Collide Tuesday afternoon at La Quinta Center Drive and Highway 111 in La Quinta

La Quinta, California (March 25, 2020) – A two-vehicle crash in the area of La Quinta Center Drive and Highway 111 in La Quinta left three people injured Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

On March 24, at about 4:37 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the crash at the intersection of La Quinta Center Drive and Highway 111, near the Target department store.

Authorities said the wreck involved two vehicles. Details of what led up the collision at this time are unknown.

One person was trapped in one of the vehicles and had to be extricated by firefighters.

A total of three victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. The names of the patients and their current conditions were not provided.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
