Riverside, California (March 25, 2020) – Injuries were reported following a traffic collision involving two trucks Tuesday morning in Riverside, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two people were injured after a semi-tractor trailer truck and a box truck collided on the northbound Interstate 215 Freeway near Martin Luther King Boulevard at about 6:32 a.m.
Medical personnel arrived at the crash site and rendered aid to the two victims who were injured, including one person who suffered a possible broken leg and had gashes to their head.
The wreck resulted in the closure of the HOV and No. 1 lane as investigation and clean up took place.
The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
