3 Hospitalized After Mojave Car Accident on Highway 14 near Highway 58 

Judith Proesl Among Injured After 2 Vehicles Crashed on Highway 14 in Mojave

Mojave, California (March 15, 2020) – Judith Proesl has been identified as one of the three victims hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened in the area of Mojave at approximately 10:21 p.m. on Saturday.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident involved a gray 2014 Hyundai Sonata and another car that crashed along southbound Highway 14, just north of Highway 58 on Saturday night. Due to the impact of the collision, one of the automobiles ended up in the center divider while the other was blocking a lane.

Two victims, including Proesl, were rushed to Antelope Valley Hospital after the wreck. The initial report showed that Proesl suffered moderate injuries, while the other patient who lost consciousness sustained fractured ribs.

Officials said another victim riding in one of the vehicles was also transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

Meanwhile, four dogs were also reported to have involved in the mishap. Kern County Animal Control was requested take the dogs for safekeeping.

Officials requested tow trucks to remove the vehicles away from the crash site.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
