Major Injuries Sustained in Hayward Crash on Interstate 880 Freeway near State Route 92

Hayward, California (April 4, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major injury collision that took place Friday afternoon in Hayward.

On April 3, at about 12:10 p.m., a tractor-trailer and a white box truck collided on the northbound side of Interstate 880 Freeway near State Route 92.

Authorities said at least one person sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. However, the name of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
