2 Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on Imperial Avenue in Lincoln Park

2 Hospitalized after Lincoln Park Car Accident on Imperial Avenue near 47th Street

Lincoln Park, California (May 13, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a head-on car crash that left two drivers nursing injuries on Monday night in Lincoln Park.

The crash transpired at about 9:15 p.m., on May 12, on Imperial Avenue in front of Lincoln High School, just east of 47th Street.

According to the police, a 1993 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 45-year-old man, was traveling westbound on the eastbound side of Imperial Avenue when it veered into the far-right eastbound lane and crashed head-on into a 1999 Toyota Rav4 SUV driven by a 19-year-old girl.

The Toyota’s right tires were reportedly on the raised center median when it drifted.

The 19-year-old girl suffered a fractured pelvis and forearm while the male driver sustained a concussion and a fractured forearm. They were both taken to a hospital for treatment.

Drugs or alcohol were not considered a factor in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.

Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian believes that car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the circumstances involved. “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side,” He said.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
