2 LAPD Officers, 1 Civilian Hospitalized after Crash in Los Angeles

Two LAPD Officers, One Civilian Injured in Los Angeles Car Accident at Vernon Avenue and Broadway

Los Angeles, California (February 2, 2020) – Two police officers and one civilian were hospitalized early Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash in South Park, Los Angeles, a local news source.

The accident happened at around 12:40 a.m. Saturday, February 1 at the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Broadway.

Authorities said two officers from Los Angeles Police Department were responding to a car collision in the area of 54th Street and Broadway when their vehicle collided with another vehicle.

Two officers and an occupant of the civilian vehicle were taken to a local hospital. Their names and conditions were not immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation.
