Man, Woman Killed in Sacramento County Crash on Jackson Highway  at Eagles Nest Road

Sacramento County, California (December 7, 2019) – Two people were killed in a traffic collision in Sacramento County Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

The fatal crash took place just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 3 on the Jackson Highway at Eagles Nest Road just west of Sloughhouse.

According to the authorities, a white sedan reportedly drifted across traffic lanes and into the path of an eastbound semi-truck.

The female driver of the sedan and her male passenger both died in the accident. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

No other details were immediately provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
