Officer Among 2 Injured in Costa Mesa Crash on Baker Street and Fairview Road
Costa Mesa, California (January 23, 2020) – Two people were injured, including a female police officer, after a crash on Thursday morning in Costa Mesa, according to a police report.
The crash was reported at around 6:50 a.m. at the Costa Mesa intersection at Baker Street and Fairview Road.
Authorities said a Costa Mesa police cruiser allegedly drove into the intersection to clear it when a car struck it.
The female officer and the male driver of the sedan were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The crash is still under investigation.
